Submitting advertisements for publication in the QLR

The Queensland Law Reporter is published every Friday (save for a short period during the court vacation in December to January).

The deadline for submission of notices (with payment) in order to advertise in the QLR is 3:30pm on the Monday immediately prior to the Friday in which the relevant QLR is scheduled for publication.

Please be advised that the ICLRQ is unable to accept submission of advertisements for the relevant publication date after the deadline has passed.

Publication dates

In 2021, the QLR is scheduled for publication every Friday from 15 January 2021 to 17 December 2021.

Please see below the corresponding deadlines for the relevant publication dates and additional information about Public Holidays:

Withdrawing or amending advertisements

Notices can only be withdrawn or corrected up until 4:30pm on the Wednesday prior to publication.

No refunds can be issued (for cancellation of advertisements) nor further amendments be applied to advertisements after this deadline has passed.

Publication rates

The current advertising rate is $161.70AUD (GST inclusive) per single publication of a standard legal notice. Rates for other advertising may be discussed with the Secretary of the ICLRQ.

The ICLRQ currently does not intend to increase its standard advertising fee (as of 2 January 2019 and for the coming financial year 2019-2021).
